Exocet hollowing tool
Steven Bauer
>A couple of years ago I bought an Exocet hollowing tool at a woodworking show here in Portland, Maine. The seller, Harry Mamalink(sp?) was from New Zealand. The tool usually comes with an eliptical tip but it was late in the day and he only had round tips left. So I paid extra for the round tip and he said he'd send me the elliptical tip. Never got it. I e-mailed him a few times and he said he would send it but never did. I complained to the magazine that sponsered the show and they said they would look into it but I never got it. Now one end of the round tip has broken. Has anyone heard of this guy? Is he still in business? Has he ripped off anyone else. These tools were for sale through one of the turning catalogs for a while but I haven't seen them listed recently. Thanks for any help,
