>As I am sure you know the Texas Turn or Two is now the Southwest Assn. of Turners (SWAT). This years SWAT Symposium is in Temple, TX Oct 1st, 2ed, and 3ed. I would suggest if you intend to go to the second largest wood turning symposium in the country you make your reservations early. I think there is a football game at Baylor that weekend. >I am the one who sent out the message about making reservations early for the Texas Turn or Two (TTT), now known as SWAT. It is very important that anyone intending to attend the symposium, make reservation immediately. Otherwise you may find yourself staying at home or in another city which will cause much inconvenience by having to get up earlier in the AM and driving further each day. Make your reservation by credit card and if, for any reason you cannot attend, simply notify the motel prior to arrival, usually by 6pm the day of your arrival, and cancel. Therefore, you are not out any money now as your credit card will not be charged until you arrive. If you mess up and do not call to cancel that will be a different story. Hope to see you there.
