About the classes. He said there are up to 11 people in the classes. When it get up to or near that number they will have an assistant to help the official teacher.

I'm considering taking Stuart Batty's class this coming July. I took a course from him a year or two ago and really liked him as a teacher. I'm considering making a vacation of it and seeing the area when I'm out there. That is one thing Provo has that other places might not have. Being in the Rockies can be an advantage.

I live just North of there, up in Idaho. I haven't taken any of the classes, but I can vouch for the facility. We did a series of penturning demonstrations in their classroom last year, and it is a great place to have turning classes! The people at Craft Supplies are just super. I highly recommend it!

The only thing better would be to talk you guys into scheduling it around the Utah Woodturning Symposium in June. I'm down there every year for that, and this year will be the best ever. It's their 25th Anniversary, and they are doing it up big!

>I have been there last 2 years for week long classes, First class operation, great instruction, one of the friendliest areas i have ever been in, check out the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in SLC on thursday evening they practice for a couple hours, easy to spend 3-4 hours on the grounds,free to those that show up and many thousands do, also Sundance mountain is fun, ride the chair lift up and down, BYU campus is great, nice area to sightsee, just head for the hills, many waterfalls, wildlife, and very friendly people everywhere you go.

>Wolf, I have taken two classes at Craft Supplies in Utah. The first class was a 3 day one with Kip Christenson. The second was their Utah 5. Both classes were excellent!! Great facitlities. The classes are limited to 10 people, so the instructor has a lot of time with each. They usually have an assistant to help also. They have a great instructor set up with video and everything. I would definitely recommend them. If I can answer any specific questions contact me.
