Vari-Grind jig for large tools

Charles Bjorgen

>This came up in a recent thread about gouges. Oneway now has the Vari-Grind jig for larger gouges up to 1-1/8" in diameter. It is part #3074 and is the same price (US $47.50) as the standard jig. It's naturally beefier than the standard model and has a somewhat different design for locking the gouge into the jig. Otherwise, it works the same.

>I recently bought one from Highland Hardware. I am finding the adjustment a bit slower but it may just be that it is new to me. Nice to get some larger gouges in.
