>The topic tonight will be "Standing behind your work". It is important for our craft that we all meet certain levels of customer satisfaction. If a piece is green turned we need to let the buyer know that it is going to warp, which can be good or bad. If they expect it to warp it is good, if they do not expect it to warp it is bad. Also, it may crack...not good. How do we minimize problems? How do we correct problems? Join us tonight for a discussion about these issues.

We'll log in about 9pm and start the topic at 9:30. No mud slinging all.

Even though they may have been warned, cracking and warping will always come as a surprize to its owner. To prevent surprizes, never let a piece of wood out of our hands until it has finshed doing whatever it wants to do. It is far better to throw away a bad piece of wood before it goes out the door than after it comes back.
