Ken, since you are building a system, I assume you just need a source for a laser pointer. The pencil variety can be found at Office supply stores. I also just found one at Target ($10)

if you have them around you.

They are a little larger, but prefer the ones that use AAA batteries versus the little watch style batteries. The replacement AAA batteries are a whole lot cheaper in the long run.
