>Looking for a recommendation for hollowing tools on the lower end of the price scale.
Would love one of the top end hollowing rigs, but can't go there right now.
I was going to get the Sorby three piece set that Sears had for a awhile (have a gift card that was a Christmas present), but alas, Sears has discontinued these tools, soooo, need to find another source/brand.
I would consider making a tool or tools as well, if someone can recommend a good how-to/website?

Take a look at my web site under "Make a Tool" for a swan neck hollowing tool. This coupled with a straight 3/16" Oland (same page) and one made at 45* should be all you need to get started. Actually, the straight and the 45 are all that Ellsworth used for years.
