Any dental or medical supplyier should have them. Expect to pay a list price of $300 to $400 for a new one. You can sometimes find a used one for about half that on E-Bay.

>Dental drill bits come in sets - just like router bits or turning tools. These sets include bits that the dentist does not use; often large coarsely flutted ones that are perfect for use on wood. Ask your dentist!

If I understand you correctly you are looking for a high speed engraver/carver, that uses some of the same size bits that a dentist uses. I have one that I purchased from www.profitablehobbies.com
also take a look at www.scmsysteminc.com both are good companies. Lew Jenson with profitablehobbies was a dentist that developed the high speed tool to be straight instead of at an angle.
