Motor mounting on Jet mini

>I just spent a couple hours taking the noise out of the drive mechanism on my old Blount wood lathe built on a machine lathe chassis. This is a flat belt oldie that weighs a ton. I'll be talking to an auctioneer this weekend in preparation for selling much of the household stuff and probably most of my tools, including the old lathe. However I intend to prchase one of the non vs Jet mini lathes to keep me somewhat in touch with woodworking. I am also going to order one of the motors that Mark Kauder used to make his Jet a vs. I have two questions. How do I order one of the motors from the Vega people? I didn't see any mention of it on their web site. The other has to do with mounting the motor. I seem to remember after Mark wrote his description of using the motor that someone posted regarding turning the motor around and mounting it under the lathe instead of off to the side. Does anyone remember that post?
