>Hey Barbara,

There is a new turning club just formed that meets in Waynesboro Va. and some of the members and officers are from Charlottesville and that area as well as from the Shenandoah Valley, Lexington, Staunton, Highland County, etc. The name of the new club is Central Virginia Woodturners, the president is Bert Smith, a highly skilled turner and instructor from Waynesboro. The club is newly affiliated with the AAW, so possibly that's why we weren't listed yet. We have a good mix of beginer and experienced turners, men, women, and my 14 year old son. We are a very enthusiastic group and are looking forward to all the fun and knowledge that a group of this type can provide. Possibly this is the club you had heard of.

>Thanks so much Roger. I have some good friends who want to get into turning and I thought I had heard about a new club up there. Bill and Patti live right in the area. Could you e-mail me the meeting date, time and location so I can let them know.
