TD hits the Big Time

>Friends, I went to an up-scale preview party for an exhibition entitled Focus on the Southern Artist. It is a well-known show in Atlanta that attempts to raise money for a local private school. There were several turners, including Phil Mouthroup. In the midst of all this art, I found some excellent pieces turned by our own Terry Daniels. He had a few poplar bowls, but the big money vessel was a burl with significant gaps. "The more gaps, the more Gs" This bowl is going for 2K and is one of the best of the show. Congratulations Terry! As I sipped my martini, I kept looking for the "artiste" in his bib overalls...a no show! That was my only disappointment.
