>Left my glasses off (new glasses) while I turned a wine cork recently and while roughing out the blanks between centers accidentally slipped with the 3/8" beading tool too close to the drive spur and chipped a corner. Now I have been to the eye doctor three times and had the tiny chip ground out with a fine burr. Looks like I will regain most of my visual acuity but don't make my foolish mistake and try turning without a shield or glasses at the least. Lost a few nights of sleep, a few days of work, a line or two off the bottom of the chart, and scratched the new glasses on the doctors equipment anyway (while in my shirt pocket).
