Terry Daniels is THE MAN

David Galloway

>Last night, our local AAW chapter in North Georgia had our "show and tell" segment that was highlighted by our own Wed. night moderator, Terry Daniels. The bowl was, as we used to say in Texas, mui grande! Several families from Haiti could use it as a boat. Seriously, this was a very large bowl that reminded me of the scale of Ed Moulthrop although had a more traditional shape. Maybe Terry has posted a picture before here, but if not, it would be worth a look. Congratulations Terry!

>Thanks David, now you know what I have been doing for the last 3 years. The twin to this bowl can be seen on my website . Both bowls are from a rotten poplar log that came from the Emory Univ Campus. This last one is 5/16" wall thickness; the first one was 7/8" thick. I'll try to get a pic after I cut the base off. Thanks.

>Thanks for the picture. You really need to see the bowl first-hand to appreciate the artistry of this bowl. It is amazing....even inspiring.
