Did I buy the wrong wheel?

>I just ordered a Silicon Carbide wheel for my 8" two speed grinder. I didn't even look at what it was made of until today. I just saw it cost more and was green!! I figured that was two of the man ingredients!! Not grey, and cost more!
I ordered a 100 grit wheel. Will it be okay for my HSS tools and my Glaser?

>I've been using a 7" green wheel with a low speed grinder and Sorby jig. My Sorby HSS tools seem to do just fine with it. The green wheel seems to cut slower and leaves a smoother ground surface. I'm not an expert in this area though and look forward to seeing the remarks of the more experienced folks in this area.

I got one in a package deal with my 1700rpm grinder. As soon as it is consumed a white one will take its place.
