Honestly, some people call me an artist because I write and play music, some people call me a technologist because I write computer software for business, some people call me a teacher because of my work at the church, some people call me a soldier because while I left the Army it never left me, and some people call me a craftsman for the turning and woodworking items I make.

I'm just glad my kids call me DAD and my wife calls me Sweetheart and my God calls me His child.

I always thought that if I started wearing a beret I could charge more money. That applies to photography as well as wood I think. Maybe I should pass that tip on to Jean Francois Escoulen. He already has the accent.

Works for most of the artists I know in KY, of course if you wear a shirt and tie, tie HAS to have character, bold, vibrant colors.

Of course the other side is dress the way you want, and chuck what the teacher said.

The most successful artist I know dress neat, clean, as present well at the shows, warm smile, confident hand shake, and don't sit in the back of the booth and watch people walk by. They work their booth!
