Another Candlestick

>This is the walnut turning that caused me all that respiratory grief last weekend. This one has a lot more detail than any of my previous efforts, and the surface is generally better -- in the junctures between those three bumps in the middle of the height, there are scratches that I did not sand out adequately; but everywhere else is quite smooth and glossy. The finish is shellac. (Blond shellac flakes from Lee Valley; this is the first time I ever mixed shellac from flakes.) I have another piece of walnut in the same dimensions and I am thinking of trying to turn a matching piece after I have my dust collection in place.
