ATL Woodworking Show

>Well, I just got back from a full day at the Woodworking Show in Atlanta.
I left the house about 8:30am and got to the show a little after opening time at 10am. Parking was a mess because of not only the show, but a Cheerleading Contest going on in another portion of the venue.
I walked around and got the lay of the land - saw mostly the usual suspects, nothing really new. Ran into WC alum Robert Simmons and his wife, and talked for a few. Once I saw that no one was giving away free Oneway Lathes, I headed on over about 11am to the Booth I was suppose to man from Noon to 2pm. The booth was an informational booth for all Georga woodturning cubs. Ended up staying there most of the day until 5pm, with side forays out to buy a few things.
I had way more fun talking to turners and prospective turners from Texas to Florida to Tenn. to the Carolinas. I finally met Marc Phillips (Woodmangler), Steve Russell (demoing for Jet/Craft USA), and other from WC. All in all a good time was had.
TD - they were still talking about your big bowl today!!
