New Dust Extractor

>Yea, I broke down and installed a new dust remover in my shop. I had a 36 inch whole house, 2 speed exhaust fan which normally goes in the ceiling installed in the wall of my shop. My lathe is at the end of my shop about 4 feet from the fan, and it sucks the dust right outside onto my farm. The fan has louvers which close when the fan is not in use. I hope to get the wood heater installed today.

>When you turn that 36" fan on it more than likely pull the heat out right along with the dust

>Yea, so I just wait until it warms up in the day to above 60 degrees. I usually don't sand in the winter until about noon.

>The way it has been here it may get to 60 by May. We are going into our third week of sub 40 days. I know some of the guys up north think that's hot but not me.
