What is the lowest Spindle speed? 500rpm

Is it revesible?NO Can it be made so? YES

Can the controls be programmed to default to low rpm?NO brake? NO

Is the motor standard OEM, off the shelf?

Do those who have used both think the Mini Jet's fixed and variable speed motors have comparable power?

Run comparably as cool?

Overload heat kick-out button?

Interfere with radio? antenna tv? pacemakers?

I'm sure the answers live elsewhere, and I don't want to impose here, but I'm a lazy redneck.

I've had my JET Mini VS for three months now, put about 200 hours of turning on it so far, in 2-4 hour sessions, and have encountered zero problems. The motor does not get hot, and I've never had a overload (unlike my Oneway). Under moderate load...turning a six-plus inch hardwood like Cocobolo...it will bog down. So, I restrict my turning on this machine to 2-4" diameter pieces. It's very quite and smooth, with tons better quality and workmanship than Delta (IMHO)
