What's it worth??

>okay...I haven't been a big poster on this board, but I have really been getting into my lathe work of late and it has led me to the conclusion that I need to get out of the beginner lathe and step up a couple notches.

I intend to purchase the Powermatic 2035 at the Indy WW show this weekend ( the powermatic rep told me they were going to have a sweet price on one there). So...I need to try to unload my current lathe.

It is a Delta 1442 IronBed model and it is about a year old. It runs great and has been a super starter, but I want to get a lathe with a lot more capacity and power. Mine has the 3/4 hp with the pivoting head.

What is it worth and should I put it in the WC classifieds??

Any suggestions are appreciated.....oh...and yeah...I guess this is a stealth gloat!!

Thanks, Kurt

>Just so you can be forarmed, give Bob Ackerman a call and ask him for his best price on the PM 3520 and write it down on a piece of paper. His number is 1-877-866-5688. People (myself included) tend to get hypnotized or other wise charmed at woodworking shows and not get that good of a deal. I think Winner will be the provider for any sales at the show anyway. Don't forget to add in the sales tax factor.
