I got the Vicmarc 100 a few months ago and it is beautiful, made very well, and it works very well too, you cannot go wrong. The only other that may be as good is the Axminster, but I never seen one in a mini.
>I am a days drive South of Sophie's, only 10 minutes from I-5. You are invited to stop over on your way to or from the BBQ next summer. We can plan Barb's demise by enticing her to turn during the picnic. She has resisted the temptation the last couple years. I can show you how I turn. It isn't very pretty but it can be very entertaining. There is plenty of wood here to shred. Besides, you will be one of the select few who have visited my shop.
Besides all my wonderful turnings to see, I have examples of work by Wally Dickerman, Mark Kauder, and Larry Hancock. You might have heard of those guys.
All seriousness aside, you are welcome to stop by anytime. Our one day of summer might occur on that day and you could take a swim in the pool.

I am not a very good turner but I fake it well in Longview, WA.
>As it turns out, Dave, I may be going through LongView while I am in Washington. I have friends in Battle Ground that I would be remiss in not visiting when I am in the state. I would love to see your shop. I understand that you have all your tools on a lazy susan 'cause you have room enough to use one at a time.
E-mail me your personal contact information. I am blocking out the trip. Sophie called today, but I will let him make the date announcement.
Someone is telling stories, no room for lazy susan

>Hi Carol,
I'll send you some info later. We will leave for Sophie's Friday morning and return Sunday night. You can stop by anytime before or after the BBQ. It will be a distinct pleasure to have you visit our abode.
