The meeting was great. I joined the club and learned a bunch about sharpening from some very fine woodturners.

I'll have to come back to Sacramento and get another lesson from the fellow who made me the little walnut goblet.

Now I am chuck shopping. So far the Vicmark 100 is leading the way. I am doing a woodshow at the end of the month, so I'll look around.

I got the Vicmarc 100 a few months ago and it is beautiful, made very well, and it works very well too, you cannot go wrong. The only other that may be as good is the Axminster, but I never seen one in a mini.

We can plan Barb's demise by enticing her to turn during the picnic. She has resisted the temptation the last couple years. I can show you how I turn. It isn't very pretty but it can be very entertaining. There is plenty of wood here to shred. Besides, you will be one of the select few who have visited my shop.

Besides all my wonderful turnings to see, I have examples of work by Wally Dickerman, Mark Kauder, and Larry Hancock. You might have heard of those guys.

All seriousness aside, you are welcome to stop by anytime. Our one day of summer might occur on that day and you could take a swim in the pool.
