I have been super busy with giving pen making courses and demonstrations and getting my Vicmarc delivered So I wasn't able to participate like I would have like to.
Here are some pens that I made to show at the demonstration. I'd like to thank Ed Davidson - Yo Yo Spin, for design inspiration on a few of the pens.

It was kind of dumb of me not to list the woods. From left to right: Acrylic acetate [really rare wood =o), pink ivory, amboyna burl, spalted tamarind, holly and ebony with the sandwich ring of maple/wenge/maple, and plain holly with the same sandwich ring.

Very nice pens! Yes, I can see Ed Davidson's influence there! But you have carried it forward so nicely! My favorite is the holly and ebony - very classy!
If you want an excuse for a "turning" vacation, why not consider coming out to Provo Utah in June for the Utah Woodturning Symposium? We're having the Second Annual Penturners Rendezvous the Day Before. It would be fun!
