>Hi Scott,
Last fall when I stopped by your house you gave me a piece of wood. It got put in the garage and lost until tonight. It was still in the plastic WalMart bag. The wood is kinda hairy and smells like good earth. The bark fell off when I took it out of the bag. I was thinking it is, or was, box elder. The bark looks like walnut. How good is your memory? I am going to rough it out and see if there is any wood left.
