>I finally had time to turn something on my new Powermatic 3520. Boy that is a nice machine.
In my never ending endeavor to help everyone with thier photography I've encluded a photo of the simplest light booth I've come up with.
The window of my back door served as the light source. It produced a shadow that was a too harsh so I added a white piece of poster board as a reflector. It is held in place by a piece of Osage Orange (minor gloat). The shadow was still too well defined which meant the light source was too small so I added a diffusion panel made from PVC and white cotton cloth. By placing this panel very close to the subject it creates the effect of a very large light source
Obviously I was shooting the scratch awl when I decided to make a photo of the booth. I set my digital camera white balance to the shaded side of the house setting since there wasn't any direct sunlight.
I hope this helps someone. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me.
