>Just got back from a weekend at Marc Adams school. Class was hand planing with Tom Lie-Nielsen and Chris Schwarz. I have only been to Adams twice and continue to be impressed with the organization, facilities and list of teachers. Tom and Chris put on a great class with great information and hands on exercises. There were students in the class from Oregon and California willing to travel to flat old Indiana. Amazing and compliments to Marc and his staff.

>Yup, I was there too, my first time; and have to say it was pure joy to be with TLN, C. Shwartz, and periodically, D. Charlesworth. The attendees like John were great too. Kind of like this place, only not virtual!

I don't know...

>Don't know if it's safe to have so many talented people all in one place. Look what that Tornado in Kansas did!

Safer to split the talent and have some come to Boise, Idaho.

Yep.

>I was there this weekend also although I was in David Charlesworth's class. I have to agree, the Marc Adams school is a great place and they definately have one hell of a lineup of teachers. This was my first class there but it I'm fairly certain it won't be my last.

For those of you who don't know, John is lucky enough to be Chris Schwarz's teaching assistant, or as John says he's his hunch back (no offense to hunch backs).

By the way, it was nice meeting you John and I look forward to getting together again in the future.

John.

>No worries. I heard rumors that there is a secret underground bunker where they hustle the celebs off to in such emergencies. It is well stocked with life essentials such as camellia oil.

>For those of you who don't venture over to WoodNet here's the thread David is talking about:

I had a great time and I learned a lot. I have all of David's books and DVDs which have been read and watched numerous times so I had a good idea of the quality of instruction I would be getting. I wasn't disappointed. Should David return to Marc Adams I'll do my best to attend whatever the topic. My dream would be to study with David in England but with a family it would be near impossible to do. These classes are definitely the next best thing.

John.
