I am a retired person and woodworking is my principal hobby. I also fly fish, bicycle, and take long walks with my springer spaniel. As a board member of a large woodworking club, I get a chance to help others become more proficient at hand tool skills such as saw sharpening and hand-cut dovetails. We also have a hand tool special interest group within the club, that meets monthly. My next major life goal is to relocate my life to a nicer climate away from my current Great Lakes location. As part of that process I am going to pare down my woodworking tools to a manageable collection of hand tools.
