I still remeber one guy who posted a small article with 5 pictures, EACH of which was over 3 Meg for a 15 Mb total download.

I feel sorry for some of our more remote members trying to read that one over dial up!

>I've tried several, including the MS powertoy, but JPEG Resampler is easiest for me for this task - allows you to set file size rather than any other parameter. The one below was shrunk below 20kb, and still has plenty of detail. (Plus here's an excuse to post this pic - I love this piece, I should have bought it.)

>Let me reiterate "considerate". It takes me about 10 min. to receive a 1 MEG picture. You can see in my previous post how good a 26K image can look if properly done and I learned today how to do it in less than 5 min. with free software.
