>Good evening,

I need a rabbet plane and wanted to make one using a 410 iron (the procedure is in one of the magazines this month). Does anyone have an iron from this plane that they could share the specs/dimensions with me so I could make one or 10...?

Many thanks.

Vlad

>Since you are contemplating building that infill plane, you might want to vist the Handtool forum at Knots and read the thread about different types of brass and metal dovetailing metal in general. This was a recent discussion; lat two weeks, I believe. There were some very authoritative respones to some questions about building one's first infill plane. Of course, this might be your tenth one...I don't know! Sorry, I can't help you with the iron dimensions.
