>Basically you get the toe and mouth front coplanar, then scrape a bit from between them. Then try it, should work fine. You really don't want to start measuring the bit and taking down the toe and mouth front if it get too deep. Sort of like freehand vs jig I suppose, but I prefer to liken it to trimming bushes when someone's not particularly good at it, you often end up with a stub.
