This means that a cheap, low precision knock-off is a good entry point to having sharp blades.
Bear in mind that the jig helps you sharpen; you still need to excercise a certain "sympathy" with blade and stone.
Let the jig help *you* guide and control the blade - don't expect the jig to do all the controlling, let the jig control you, and you control the blade.
In particular there should not be a great deal of pressure on the jig's wheel, if you're doing it right.
