Thanks everyone

>Thank you for the kind words. Yeah, work has been a little hard to come by lately. This opportunity appeared at just the right time and I couldn't be happier. First day is in the books and there is still lots to be done before the store opening. I wore a bib today because the drooling was totally outta hand. The manager thinks I have a speech disorder because I just kept looking in boxes saying things lie, "ooooooooo", "aaaahhhhhhhh", "I loooove you so much. We could make such sweeeeeet music together..." Oh well, he'll get used to it.
As for the chairs... Yup, I am making some progress. I did all of the saddling with a travisher because I am too lazy to get my inshave cleaned up and working, along with a Snell Atherson #6 shave. The seat is pine so I got some pretty nasty tearout working 'up' the grain. I wound up giving the seat a quick taste of my orb*tal s*nd*r. It came out real nice. I feel that the elm for the next chair will work much easier with a nice sharp iron. I'll see what I can do about some pictures. Thanks for the encouragement.
