>It's getting harder to find chemical suppliers for finishing, patinating, and many other art processes, especially post-9/11. This company is giving it a shot, though, and if you're looking to mix that special recipe to pop the curl in maple or deepen that too-pale Honduras mahogany, this is the place to look now that Bryant Labs and other similar suppliers to artisans have closed. Probably not a big demand from this group but now and then someone asks where me where to find potassium dichromate, non-denatured ethyl alcohol in states that ban Everclear, and so on.

>Interesting site, but it's pretty expensive, in some cases outrageously so. Two alternatives that are better deals--at least for some things--are Photographer's Formulary (http://www.photoformulary.net/) and Kremer Pigments (www.kremer-pigmente.com). No affiliation other than having bought from both.

>I've bought from Kremer for years, but Photographer's Formulary is new to me. Looks great. Thanks!
