It wasn't easy, but someone had to do it. I shopped around for weeks and sampled umpteen garments from half a dozen suppliers before I finally settled on a full-zip lightweight fleece jacket that I thought worthy of the WoodCentral emblem, and here it is.

This is a 14-oz. polyester microfleece jacket with a full zipper in front, two zippered pockets with elastic pull tabs and an elastic bottom drawstring with barrel clasp. It is exceptionally light and comfortable, yet surprisingly cuddly and warm for its weight. It can be worn indoors like a sweater or outdoors in moderately chilly weather. It is washable and pill-resistant, or so they tell me. At the moment, I'm stocking it in one color: charcoal gray, and it is now officially on sale in the WoodCentral Store.

Now, before you all rush over to the store to place your orders, I want to tell you about another WoodCentral fleece that will be available as soon I can get all the ducks lined up. I'm still trying to negotiate with the vendor for a better price; I'll let you know as soon as we're good to go.

This jacket is the warmest fleece I could find, bar none. It is a double-layered 100% polyester jacket with a deep-pile "Sherpa fleece" lining and a suedelike outside layer that wicks moisture out while keeping your body heat in. I don't think I'd recommend it for folks in places where it doesn't get cold in the winter, but for me in PA, it has become my go-to jacket for outdoors, in temperatures well below freezing. You wouldn't want to wear this one indoors unless you forgot to feed the woodstove last night. :-)

This is an excellent outdoor winter work jacket. Unlike the lightweight fleece, this one has no drawstring at the bottom; it is purposely open to allow you plenty of mobility. It is available in black or sage (a sort of grayish green, see below).

I cannot afford to stock these heavyweights because of the cost, but we should be able to ship them within ten days of your order. As soon as we figure out the final cost (which is likely to be between $65 and $75 including shipping) I will add them to the store.
There is a possibility that I can offer an "earlybird special" on the heavy fleece jackets that could amount to a substantial savings on the price to you. If so, I will post the earlybird price in the store for as long as I am able to secure those prices.

There's still a lot of winter left, so act now and sit it out in warmth and style!

They're open on both items

>I didn't like the samples I tried with elastic cuffs. The open ones are more comfortable, IMO.
