>Timber framing is a lot more like building fine furniture than carpentry, so it's very important that the joints be cut correctly, precisely, and that the pieces are assembled in the proper order. So we have a lot of work to do before anyone else can work on it. However, I certainly wouldn't want someone handling that giant circular saw and sharp chisels to be drinking. And the number of smashed fingers that could result from driving pegs with heavy mallets is frightening. I just don't have that kind of insurance. :)
