Set of Shopmade Dovetail Saws with etches

Here is a set of Dovetail saws styled a la LN. Actually the handles are much larger and fit my hands perfectly (duh, I made them that way!)
Anyway the handles are tiger maple with shellac and the blades are made from 10" Home depot sheetrock knives. The top is filed crosscut 14TPI and the bottom is Rip 15TPI. The back is brass and the nuts were salvaged from the rust pile.
The etches were the fun part. I used printed circuit board tecnology to create them. First I made my pattern (photocopier, hand drawn and Word) and printed it on clear paper. Then I applied photo resist to the blade and imaged the pattern onto the resist using a UV lamp to cure the resist. The uncured resist was stripped away with 2% hot sodium carbonate leaving the perfect negative of the pattern, and then the pattern was etched with dilute Nitric acid. Then I stripped the cured resist with 3% potassium hydroxide. The etches are about .001" deep, much deeper than Disston ever made.
I milled the .020" wide slot into the brass back on a milling machine with a slitting tool. The blades are .020" thick and leave a kerf like my japanese pull saw.
Now for the trivia part. Who can translate the etches? I'll post some close ups...
