plumbing

>I've never had to pay a plumber yet, but have to say it is my least favorite job of owning a house. I did pay to have my well point replaced a few years ago but only because my wife didn't want go without running water for a few months.

About 5 years ago we bought a new faucet for our shower, and I looked at what it would take to replace it. At the time, the faucet worked fine, it just didn't look real good and was a cheap faucet. After seeing what it would take to replace it (no access behind the shower) I just stored the new faucet till we needed it. Now it has been dripping about 6 months, and today was the day to be a plumber. Much fun is in progress at the Yoder house. No cursing yet though; the weather is good, and the job is actually going better than I anticipated. Just say a few prayers for me if you think about it ;)

Moses, I hope it went well

>Plumbing's not my most favorite, either, especially after the January day my son and I spent in the crawlspace (taller than most, but also wetter than many) replacing the coldwater line to the house system from the ground, just before (thank goodness) it burst from corroding down to paper thin.

If I don't throw at least one wrench or ten curses, it's not a real plumbing job.
