Perfect job for a 100

>A couple of weeks ago, there was a thread on a Kunz 100 squirrel tail plane, and I allowed as how I had an Ohio Tool version of this design all sharpened up and gathering dust on the shelf waiting for the right project. I decided to make the pie crust tea tray in Woodcraft mag. 1/6 as a Christmas present for the GF. After using a noisy, electron eating tool to set the depth and inner dimensions of the pie crust, I used chisels, a Stanley 71 and the above mentioned Ohio Tool O.100 to remove the rest of the stock in the center of the tray. The little squirrel tail plane did an admirable job of leveling the field in the center of the tray.
BTW, if any of you decide to make this project, be aware that the author made an error in the circumferences the noisy, electron eating plunge thingy should be set at. Picture #3 has the correct radii; the author made an error in the write-up converting these to circumference (they should be 13" and 12"). Thus, the GF will get a set of two trays; one (the first one) seriously smaller than the second.
