However,

Modern guitars should be built in such a way that neck resets are not as necesarry as they once were, or they can be done without ungluing. An example of this is the Taylor neck system, but many smaller shops have come to similar results. So resets should be easy or unnecesarry. On the other hand, a lot of the rest of the guitar is not easily reversed. Ther reality is that a major guitar repair often starts with some pretty complete destruction. Routing off the back or something. This isn't a violin, where parts pop apart pretty easily. Binding make major repairs difficult. So keep that in mind. should the guitar be designed to be reversed, or to never come appart at all? Or for a long time.
