Workbench update: tomorrow begins the glue up! *LINK*

>I've made a bit of progress on my bench and thought I'd post a link to my website, where I've updated a few pics, some writing, and a few links to the threads from WC, about the thought process I went through to get where I'm at.
I just finished drilling 40 holes and cutting 12 mortises, so the top is ready for glue up. I borrowed a few clamps from a buddy of mine, and I turned two 1 1/2" cylinders, longer than the width of my bench, that I'll use to line up the holes for the twin screw.
I couldn't decide where I wanted the vise, front left or front right, so I drilled holes all the way through the top, and cut mortises for nuts in four places, not just two - this way I can actually have two twin screw vises in operation at once. I don't anticipate needing this , but it gives me the option to have the vise in different two places, and will let me decide where I like it best.
One question: I'm using Titebond 2 and 12 pair of bar clamps for my 11'-9" 2x6's - I'm planning on using an old paint brush to apply the glue to one side of the board - wet to dry - is this the way you guys would do it? Any other suggestions?
Tia!
David
The picture I've uploaded here is a shot of the two cylinders I turned to align all my holes together - the other pics are on the website.
