Are Millers Falls Screwdivers any good?

Kevin French, Antrim NH

>I hope so because I just pick up 18 out of the dump. Along with 2 Craftsman, a half dozen no names. Eleven Star bits, half dozen punches, and 34 files.

Oh ya I also got a 60# Compound Bow and a treadle sowing machine (complete)

It's been a good week

As you can see I need MORE screwdrivers.

>I'm trying to picture a treadle sowing machine - is it horse-drawn? Was there a treadle reaping machine to go with it?

Millers Falls tools had, I believe, a generally above-average reputation, so they're probably about as good as Craftsman drivers but not as good as, say, Snap-On.

>I don't think Millers-Falls is around any longer -- I bought an old Millers-Falls breast drill a few years back in a garage sale for a few bucks. I thought it was well made. I guess if it were me I'd clean them up and keep them for their collectibility as I'm a big fan of Klein screwdrivers and have at least one of each of what they make.
