>Thanks for the detail pics (all of them). Beautiful piece. I like the contrast between the cherry and the maple. Why cocobolo for the pulls? Did you want a dark contrast between the pulls and the drawer fronts?

One question...
Did you use 1.5" square leg stock, or 1 and 3/8?
I made a small table with 1.5" legs, and it looked a little chunky. I am thinking 1 and 3/8 might look better.
Thanks,

>Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I went with cocobolo for the contrast. I wanted the table to be light in color, the drawers to be darker and the pulls to be even darker. The cocobolo is also very dense and shined up very nicely.

>Thanks, Martin, Yes, I went with 1 3/8" for the legs. The challenge is to have enough thickness in the legs for the rail tenons and the apron tenons. I mitred them so they could have as much glue surface as possible. I was planning to pin them as Garrett Hack did with his table, but in the end decided against it. It seemed like overkill. Plus, I wanted to finish the project!
Thanks, and don't forget to make a Shop Shot!
