Speaking of Books--WOW

>Anyone into early wooden planes will be bowled over by Don & Anne Wings new Early Planemakers of London.
It's a full color book built on the foundation of all the earlier books on wooden planes. Lots of new information and research. There's so much, I don't know where to start.
I never thought anyone would be able to attribute a plane to the earliest documented British plane maker, Robert Hemings. But there it is, a photo of a marked Hemings plane! Lots of new early makers documented and photos of many of their planes. Why did they belong to the Tallow and Chandlers guild? How is planemaking related to candle making? I don't know yet, I haven't read the whole thing. There's even a wall chart of early British makers included. Want to know about the different John Greens, IOHN GREENE, IOHN GREEN and JOHN GREEN? Did you know there were two William Lovages--father and son? It's here.
The book is simply packed with new information--no fluff here. Hasn't anyone else bought it? Why didn't I read about it here before now? I realize it's only been out a short time but I can't believe someone else doesn't have it.
