>Well, the recent discussions on reviews have been very therapeutic for me. Truly helped me gain a proper perspective on the futility and foolishness of my self imposed moratorium on writing reviews. It's clear to me,now, that the issues I thought I might nobly sidestep, my attempts to hold myself above attacks on integrity and accusations of bias, aren't a problem for intelligent woodworkers who think for themselves, and can never satisfy those who are driven by personal agendas. Simply, I've been trying to avoid the criticisms of the wrong folks, and in the process not been as helpful as I might have been to the folks I care most about.
In the future, if I have something that I think may be helpful to report (which was always the point of my writings), I shall continue to try to report it well; if I don't, I won't. You all individually will decide what you wish to make of them.
I know that some of you have offered this very advice to me previously, or have already applied it to your own contributions, but sometimes this old coot is a bit slow in getting things.
