wooden spokeshaves

>Good morning all,

Any of you use any of the newly produced wooden spokeshaves currently on the market? I'm looking for opinions and names of current makers and/or suppliers, such as "Dave's Shaves", "KC Toolworks", etc.

I already have several metal shaves and I've been looking for an older, used one, but haven't found one yet in decent user condition.

>The kit from Lee Valley is easy to build, makes a fine shave (easily adjustable), plus you can style it to your preference. If you are hooked on the low angle blade of a wood shave, think about the Veritas Low Angle shave. It has all the benefits of a wood shave, but the advantages of an adjustable/changable toe piece. >I have used one of Dave's Shaves. Works quite nicely. I have also used a number of the metal ones (Stanley, Kunz, Lee Valley, etc.). The LN and the LV are the best that I have tried out of the metal ones along with an older #151.
