>Ernie,

That plane in the bottom center of the first pic, right below the chisels, is missing a few parts, like tote, front knob, frog, cap iron, lever cap, body...

I think that will make good money about now. It's an on line auction and the anvil is upto $30 with the next bidd at $35 I will make my move just befor it closes at 4:00 this afternoon.

>That's my attitude with the lawn.I let it grow. If she wants it to be manicured ,she can cut it.I'll provide the lawnmower,I just don't mow lawns. We used to have a goat but he didn't get along with my dog.---Jack

>I'll cut the grass, but won't edge. If I can't get it with the mower than maybe next time it will be taller and bend over more so I can.

also I won't grass farm. Down here in Hell if you want a nice lawn you have to be a professional grass farmer. got to put out bug poisons, fertilizers, this that the other thing blah, blah, blah, blah it's endless. I say screw it, let the weeds grow they are green and from a distance they look fine. Up home if you stand still long enough the grass will grow on you, down here you've got to beg it to grow.

Read once where grass is the most expensive cash crop. People spend millions of $$$ on every year and yet nobody eats it or does anything else of value with it. Ridiculous.

>Well, I compost the clippings, and use the compost to grow tomatoes and hot peppers. Mind you, mine is real grass, not that chinch bug fodder and mole cricket fodder you grow in the Sunshine State and have to cut twice a week during the rainy season when the temperature and the humidity are both above 90.

>Yeah, don't get me started on that neither. First time I seen what they call grass down here I thought it was low growing weeds. I think that St. Augustine stuff is absolute garbage and would rather have the weeds. I'll be damn if I'm gonna be a grass farmer to grow St. Augustine.

Been thinking of tilling up my front yard, yeak right, I've seen flower beds up home bigger than my front lawn and sowing in flower seeds. I fiqure that the flowers must be in the weed family and the wees seem to grow very well, so why not plant some pretty weeds? Surely it'll look better than St Augstine grass, coarse than again I could fill in my lawn with crushed gravel and it would look better than St. Augustine grass.

>I bid up to $85 on it and got shut down. The only thisg I got was an M1A1 120MM tank round Dummy I bid on alot of stuff and people bid one incrament ove me. I guess that is what you get at an online auction that go's live one hour later. Now I have to drive 60 miles to pick that thing up. I am going to see if they are taking concessions so I can drop stuff off at the same time.
