We were very covert about it...
Doug Evans
>Ben disguised himself as me (kinda brought on a lot of female attention he wasnt used to) and I disguised myself as Ben (I hate putting on mascara and lipstick but, it was a good cause).
A stroke of genius; I hid the camera in a small black leather bag slung over my shoulder - part of the Ben "LOOK" (maybe a "ben-her LOOK"). I felt that Steve would never suspect something such as a camera and ancilliary photographic equipment to be found in such an accessory. I would not be disappointed.
Ben engaged Steve in some nauseating discussion about sandpaper grits while I snooped about taking illuminating snaps. In amongst a pile of mass spectrometers and laser-cutting equipment, I found evidence of stereo litography work lying about all over the place. Clik! Clik! Clik!
What's that over there? Of course, a small heat treat oven and cryogenic chamber... Crafty Lad!!! Clik! Clik! Clik!
Suddenly, the conversation stopped abruptly and Steve swung about. Mustering all the cohonies I could, I sputtered "So good of you to turn about. Now, let's get a group shot shall we?" I set up the tripod and the timer. Clik! Clik! Clik!
Oh, look at the time... we must run... off to... to... BRIDGE CITY!
We started into a dead run and had almost reached the corner just as Steve emptied the first round of rock salt into Ben's hastily retreating nether regions. Took one for the team as it were.
A day in the life of high tech industrial espionage at Shepherd.
Cheers,
