I felt that for a Translucent this size it was worth the money and consider it an investment, that's why I'm not gonna use it.

Did you see what this little Lily White went for, now that's insane in my eyes.

Few years ago I sold a huge translucient that was maybe 4 X 10 much bigger then any stone I have seen. Was in a neat wooden box with lots of writing and apparently it was sold for sharpening cutters for some antique machine [I forget all the details!] Went for about $175 if I remember right and I thought it would do a bit better...Well think i will go and dig around for that Pike metal whet stone holder i got somewhere or the other....Todd

My first translucent got drop tested by my apprentice at work. Two pieces:-(

Got a replacement from Joel at Tools For Working Wood. Same stone but slightly(1/4") thinner. Use it and enjoy it.JR

Hey, compared to her I spend very little money for the most part and she'll even admit to that. Sure I spend a few $ every week on rust, but nothing major. Fiqure I'm over-due for something extravagent.
