>Yuck! That looks nasty Steve. Reminds me of when I dropped a scrub blade on my leg. You're "lucky" you didn't gash your wrist open, you could've lost a lot of blood quickly. It must have bled bad enough as it is. Hope you heal quickly.

I was thinking the same thing. well she was in training not sure if she was going to be a doc or what. but the guy had to help her tie the knots.

Do you wear your ring when you're working? If so, I recommend strongly that you remove it - I haven't worn mine at home (so I don't forget and leave it on when I start doing physical work) ever since I read a casual reference by a physician to the term used for what can happen to the skin and flesh of a finger when the ring gets caught in machinery - it's called "degloving."
