Negative Angle Bench Plane

Joel

>In the past few years low angle (LA) planes have been become increasingly popular and there are a lot of interesting designs to choose from as major manufacturers constantly introduce new and more versatile models.

Innovation is the key to success. So it gives me great pleasure to go the next level and announce the first plane in our new series of negative angle (NA) bench planes. The first metal planes designed from the ground up for planing the underside of boards.

Other Features: Thick A2 blade, One-piece heavy duty cap iron, Adjustable frog and mouth, Bailey Style blade adjuster and Corregated sole.

(note: the picture is a prototype, casting are expected in later this month with production around fall. Pricing TBD but will be competitive. Pat. Pend.)

>Hi Joel,

That looks like a fine plane there. Are you taking early advance pre-orders on that?

Joel

>Yes - and the best part about it is that there is no more crouching under the bench like you have to do with an old style positive angle plane. So it's much easier on my back.
