Dog Holes in Bench Vise Jaws

>I'm building my first workbench and had a question about dog holes in the vise jaws. I'm installing the Veritas Twin Screw Vise and am using square dogs. I know the on the workbench you angle the dog holes 2-3 degrees to keep the dog pushing down into the the bench as it tightens, but what about the hole in the vice? Can you make the holes straight or should you try and angle them the reverse direction?

>Mike, I used square dogs in my bench, but I decided to use round dogs in my end vise. Drilling a round hole was a lot easier than trying to cut an angled dog hole in the vise face. The Veritas round dogs have angled faces so you don't have to drill the hole at an angle, and they work just fine with an opposing square dog in the bench top.
